The Russian Embassy School

The comprehensive Russian Embassy School in the UK of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is one of the oldest schools of MFARF in Europe. The equipment and the capacity of the school building allow to educate 150 daytime students. Having the State License and the Certificate about the state accreditation the school provides its graduates with the State documents: certificates of secondary education and certificates of complete secondary education.

All members of the teachers staff have Higher Education and a great experience of teaching at schools in Russia as well as at MFARF schools abroad. The average length of teaching service is 18 years. Most of them are certified and have obtained the categories from the second up to the highest one.

The Secondary Russian Embassy School in GB works 5 days a week. On Wednesdays and Fridays children attend subject, sport and art clubs.

The country of stay- the UK- adds a special feature to the Russian Embassy School in London. It's general knowledge that GB has a well developed and traditionally high standard system of education. Therefore it makes necessary to keep the educational process up to a high level. The main aim of the teachers staff is to provide students with good knowledge of the English language keeping in mind the importance of other academic subjects. So on the 1st of September in 1996 the Russian Embassy School began to work as a secondary comprehensive school with profound study of the English language and nowadays it's still working according to the corresponding curriculum.

The students of extra-curriculum classes are able to attend school once a week to have three lessons-consultations, which makes up 102 lessons-consultations a year. Extra curriculum lessons are held on Fridays from 5 pm to 7.10 pm. Extra curriculum students are assessed according to the State Regulation on the Certification of the 9th and 11th graduates of secondary schools of the Russian Federation.
